Emm enjoys playing Uno but he always has to spread his hand down because he cannot make a fan of his cards and hold them in his teeny-weeny hands. So I was delighted when I came across this post by the super-creative Julie K. Card holder for young players? There sure is something for everything, if you know what I mean….
Anyway, so here is what I did…
I got these:
A round piece of paper [cover of a take-home container; you can use a paper plate]
A plastic lid with the flat part cut out
Scissors
Printed paper
Glue and
A brad
[The small yellow piece you see is a double-sided tape which I ended up not using]
I did this:
Cut printed paper to size and glued it to the round piece of paper. Layer the paper and plastic and insert the brad in the center. Tighten the brad as needed so the cards don’t fall out.
Here’s what we made:

Yours looks so awesome! We’ll have to get the kids together to have some uno marathons. We have attack uno, uno spin, uno jenga …. and of course regular uno. Fanatics we are!
